FLY FISHING SCHOOL

Fly fishing should be made easy and enjoyable!

The goal of Two Rivers Emporium fly fishing school is to simplify catching a fish with a fly. The art of fly fishing is often shrouded in mysterious terminology and academic parlance, which can intimidate many individuals who would like to participate in this great sport. In contrast, our experienced staff will simplify the basic tenets of fly casting and fly fishing so students will immediately be able to enjoy this activity on Wyoming;s wonderful waterways. The principal instructor for the schools is Mike Kaul, a Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Casting Instructor.

"I have participated in Mike's "Ladies Only" fly fishing clinics for several years. Mike shares practical strategy in casting, fly selection and knot tying. The information and application these clinics provide is priceless. I highly recommend his float trips, classes or clinics to all whether a novice or expert fly fisher."

DESIGN OF INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM

Beginners will be taught basic casting skills, tackle set-up and basic knots. The students will also receive an introduction on how to spot fish and what artificial flies to use in this area. Experienced fly fishers will receive a refresher on fundamentals and assistance in refining casting and fishing skills.

Eighty percent of the instruction is "hands on" and designed to allow the students to immediately apply their skills to a fly fishing situation.
